Today, most people have never seen polio — and that makes fundraising a challenge. IZIDOR bridges that gap, opening hearts and creating conversation that lead to compassion and action.

IZIDOR is a 30-minute short film that tells the story of an eight-year-old orphan going outside for the first time. Blending animation and live action, it shows how one act of courageous kindness can change a life.

Izidor Izidor Ruckel was one of Romania’s hidden children, isolated because he had polio. His story gives this disease a face and a name, showing why Rotary’s mission to end polio forever still matters today.

Each film package includes:

  • 30-minute film – A secure screening link for Rotary and community audiences. Includes 5 days of access, giving hosts time to preview the film before their event.
  • Digital Promotion Kit –  Posters and social graphics to promote your event.

Rent the film by clicking the “Rent Now” button on this page and following the checkout process. The rental includes one license for one Rotary Club event.

The license fee is based on your club’s membership size. The tiers are listed above on this page. The fee that applies for your group will be calculated and displayed during checkout.

The rental period is 5 days and starts when you complete checkout. This provides time for your Event Host to review the film prior to the Rotary screening.

Yes. We encourage the Event Host to watch the film ahead of the Rotary screening to get familiar with it. Please note that access is limited to the purchasing account and cannot be shared with other individuals or clubs.

During checkout you will create a login on our film website where you will have access to the IZIDOR film and accompanying materials for the duration of the rental.

Yes. You must log in to our film website to access the film and accompanying materials.

Any device where you can log in to the film website via a web browser.

For your Rotary event, the best experience is to stream the film from a computer connected to a large TV or projector with an HDMI cable. This setup ensures the best viewing and sound quality for your audience.

Yes. English and Romanian subtitle options are included.

No. Your access allows for only streaming of the film. The accompanying materials are downloadable.

No. Each rental includes one license for one screening hosted by the Rotary Club listed at the time of purchase.

Yes. All transactions are processed securely through Stripe.

Film rentals are non-refundable. However, we understand that unexpected things can happen. If circumstances prevent your Rotary screening from taking place, please contact us—we’ll do our best to help you reschedule your event.

Because the film includes mild language and a few emotionally intense scenes, we recommend it for ages 12 and up.
